Ripple

I took this photo while leading my daughter's 4H group on a photo walk. The kids seemed to have a great time wandering around the DEC conservation area, getting in close to the plants and trees and trying out new perspectives.

At the back corner of the area are a few small ponds. It was dusk, so the light was warm and soft. The kids were tossing rocks in the water, and I started snapping away.

I later submitted this to my local photo club's monthly contest and ended up winning. That was nice.
